Scary day!

We were all sitting in front of the sliding glass doors that leads out to the deck, snoozing in the sunshine when it happened. An invader. A big WOOF!

Nala and I were closest and we jumped when we heard that woof. There was a big smelly dog pressing his wet nose against the glass. He woofed a few more times, no doubt trying to send us into heart attacks and then he GROWLED.

When we calmed down, we merped a bit curiously form our position under Mommy's chair. She still doesn't know how the dog got into our yard but he's gone now.

Dinner is funnnn!

Mommy cooked dinner tonight and it was sooooooo much fun!

First, Daddy chopped up the pork and as soon as his back was turned, I grabbed a piece and ran away.

Mommy yelled at me and then made Daddy put me in the cat crate. And she wouldn't budge! I gave her my most pitiful looks and meowed and even gave her the Puss-n-Boots look. But noo! I had to stay in jail. I couldn't break through. Meooww! Hiss! Curses! Mommy's GOOD! She must have cute kitty repellant or something!

*Puts on innocent face and lick paw* Mommy's watching!

So, anyway, after I carried on, she and Daddy finally let me out. Their food was served but their was a pan I could lick. I went over to investigate and...hiss! Mommy was super duper efficient and put it in the dishwasher and let her food go cold.

While her back was turned, I became Super Nala of the Jungle and slunk toward her plate, but she was too fast for Super Nala and I only got my paw moist.

*Lick* So that's what sweet and sour pork tastes like!

What's a doghouse? Mommy says I'm in one after my behavior tonight!

Nala..Out!

A cat's work is never done!

Daddy is home now and that means we get to romp with him. We're still a little freaked out about the winds and that white wet stuff that fell from the sky two wakeups ago. Mom called it snow.

We've had a purriful day and have loved the emails and posts here. Since our days are so exciting, here is a rundown of our activities.

Napped 70% of the day.

Preened 29.9% of the day.

The other .1% was spent romping, making mean faces at the squirrels and birds around, bathing each other and chasing each other around the house, knocking over anything not firmly attached to the ground. What fun we've had!

More later!
Your feline god and goddesses

Nala, the SpokesCat Speaketh

Well, Mommy was productive today! She uploaded all of our furry visages. We'd love for you to pay homage to our cuteness. We'll carefully avoid mentioning that we threatened her with a flurry of claws and growls until she wrenched herself away from work (work, bah!) to figure out the program and send our pictures up. She must always remember her place. We chose her to see to our every need and gosh darnit, this was an important need!

It is 9 am. We're mostly watching the squirrels and birds playing in the food that Mommy left out. How touching that she saw to our entertainment concerns. What was that? No, surely she didn't do it so those lesser animals would have food. I didn't hear that *paws over ears*!

We'll merp at you later!

Welcome, welcome!

Hello!

Welcome to the cat house. We will not be silenced!

Here is the merp-down on us!

Kassa, called Pooky
I'm the eldest and am a bit shy. I am all white and have big blue eyes. Mommy calls me the Diva because I am! I'm also "Number One". I was the first cat in the household! I arrived here in June, 1996 after Mommy fell in love with me at the pet store. I had been there for three months, because people were afraid that I was deaf. I'm not, but I do have a little trouble hearing. I mainly stay upstairs and keep to myself. My motor runs whenever anyone who I can love on gets close.

Utopia, called Goose.
I'm a year younger than Pooky. Mommy got me on her birthday in 1997 from a breeder. I'm a purebreed Bengal. Mommy calls me 'Miss Cattitude' because I have attitude and personality galore. I could be called special needs, since losing one of my kidneys during surgery last year. Mommy is very happy that this hasn't seemed to slow me down. I am the ultimate diva and will let Pooky know this!

Cinders, called Boycat/B.C.
I am the lone male in a sea of estrogen. Pity me! I was born in Australia and was a rescue cat. My dad rescued me in November of 2000 when I was only ten weeks old! Then, he met my mom and I made a long journey to America. I'm very social and chat long hours of the day. I'm a tuxedo cat.

Tygressa, called Tyggie/Tyggs
I'm a well-fed calico cat with a great friendly purrsonality. Cinders and I were adopted together, but I was only five weeks old when I came to live with my dad. I'm very affectionate and often give my parents head-butts when I need a little extra love.

Nala, called NalaBoo/BooCat
I am one of the newest cats in the house. I'm a purebreed Bengal that mom and dad rescued from a certain death in November of 2004. I'm VERY tightly bonded toMommy and I've got a bit of species confusion...am I a cat or a dog? I wag my tail and follow Mommy around like I was a dog, but I certainly must be a cat. Ispend my days curled up on Mommy's lap.

CleoCatra
Nala and I were adopted together. I have tiger stripes and a very quiet and shy purrsonality. I like to sit at the window watching the birds and squirrels. I'm still very shy but Mommy and Daddy are working to help me come out of my shell.
